TECH-PARLIAMENT

“Sometimes when I'm talking, my words can't keep up with my thoughts. I wonder why we think faster than we speak. Probably so we can think twice.”
-Bill Watterson (Author of the comic strip Calvin & Hobbes)

The Tech-Parliament competition will be a beautiful amalgam of a traditional debate and a traditional group discussion. This single round event will not be about a "for and against" debate. Nor will it will not be about "coming to a common ground" discussion.

It will be about looking into a situation. Evaluating it. And accordingly placing yourself in a position  from where you can not loose. It will be about profit and loss, primarily of your own and then maybe of the other teams.

This competition like every other competition in tech-Aakriti is going to see how good you are at thinking, not speaking alone. It will analyze as to how much of thought you have put in, before actually making a statement on an issue.

So bear this in mind, its not about making others look like fools with fancy words, proverbs and sarcasm. Its about making yourself look smart with simple words backed up with sound logic.
