TECH PAPER

This is my answer to the gap between ideas and action - I will write it out.” - Hortense Calisher 

The TECH PAPER competition challenges students to exhort their research and presentation skills by presenting a technical paper. The paper presentation gives the students and opportunity to study intensively about any technological issue and present a paper explaining the whole concept comprehensively. The students are free to choose any technologically relevant subject for their paper.

Genuine ideas and good presentation skills will be appreciated.

WHAT ARE THE DEADLINES? 

Each branch is required to submit 10 paper abstracts by the 6th of February. 4 papers will be selected out of these 10 from each branch. These 4 best entries from each branch must then submit the full paper and the presentation by the 18th of February. These presentations will then be presented by the teams on 20th of February.

CAN YOU ENTER? 
Every bonafide student of Army Institute of Technology, Pune is eligible.

HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR THE COMPETITION? 
1. A Team may consist of up to two (2) eligible students (Same branch, but not necessarily same batch).

2. Ten (10) entries per branch will submit the abstracts.

3. Four(4) best entries from each branch will then present their papers for the finals.

WHAT CONSTITUTES AN ELIGIBILE ENTRY?
To be eligible, your entry / entry materials must meet the following content and technical requirements:

REQUIRED ELEMENTS - Your entry must contain all of the following required elements:

· The papers must be written strictly as per the IEEE paper format.
· Any presentation or documentation must be in the English language.

FINALS: 
All teams selected to advance to the finals will be required to:

· submit the full paper and corresponding presentation by 18th of February.
· 20 minute live presentations and 15 minute Q & A on the paper.

  1. We believe that this is a great opportunity for the TEs to really put their minds to the technical paper presentations that they are going to give this semester as a part of their curriculum.

    We expect them to take part in this event with the same papers that they will/have presented in their exams.

    It will also be a great idea to take an SE along with them in their 2 man teams. It will be a great exposure for the SEs as well!!!
